Hi Zoa, Stephanie and Emily (am I missing anyone? still figuring out how to do this ning thing!),
I'm so sorry I haven't replied to your messages! I think maybe I bit off more than I can chew with joining this group. My plate is pretty full right now and I'm not sure if I can swing getting together. Maybe if you guys pick a place and start meeting, I might be able to join you soon. I'm thinking it might even be after the holidays.

I'm really excited to meet other local artsy people--and unschoolers at that!! How cool is that?!

Zoa--Jane and I have lots of great talks about making altered books. We're having alot of fun with that.

I hope it's OK if I stay in touch virtually for now and join you all as soon as I can. I"m really looking forward to meeting you guys and learning what you're into.

I'm happy to travel for our gatherings, to pretty much anywhere in the metro area. Wed, Thur, and Fri are my best days!! Can't wait to meet everyone. :)

I live in a smallish apartment, but you all are welcome to meet here (Takoma Park). I'm also happy to travel. -Emily

Where can we meet to get started? I think we have are pretty spread out: south of DC, Frederick, Takoma Park, and near DC somewhere (Letty?).
