- how the muse speaks to me:
- I think the muse speaks more often than I listen. I enjoy everything about art - looking at it, making it, learning about it, watching other people make it. Where I struggle is in letting that enjoyment be enough of a reason - somewhere along the way I got stuck with that idea that "artists" were somebody else. I always tell my kids that art is a process, a journey, that everybody deserves to do as much of it as they want, without judgment, and whether it's objectively "good" or "bad" is irrelevant. But I'm a bit of a hypocrite there . . . need to be that parent to myself! So I guess joining here can be a step in that direction.

- It only took me, what, 8 months to respond to La's invitation to join here? Clearly I am not so technologically savvy . . . or computer-efficient. But I love what the i-tribe is all about!
